Set Your Goals with Intention = Manifestation!
When you set your goals, the more you understand what it is you really want, the better the results you will receive! Knowing your
intentions
of why you want your goals will allow you to take the right steps for manifesting intentions and reaching your goals.
You may have already started this discovery process with

Practice 2 or even
mind/body wellness formulas
. The introduction practices in these related articles can provide the initial information for your next steps of setting your goals here.
If Not? Start here and work your way "backwards" to the deeper meaning of your purpose and development. When you see the commonality of your goals, you realize the power of intention and how you can serve your purpose with more clarity.
Big Picture - When you set your goals, you are using the power of intention manifesting as a way to support and take action on your purpose and your
values
. Positive intentions create an energetic vibration that has more power to assist you on your path to succeed. Values clarification will reveal what you truly want and where to focus your time and energy.
As you follow your path of self discovery - amend your goals to reflect your values and the changes in your purpose!

Here are practices provided by devaliving-training to set your goals and to have a plan of action once the goals are clear.PRACTICE 1: Set Your Goals and Intentions Use your goals from the two practices stated above; or set your goals now (just a few will do). Got them? Good! This is where you make sure your intention is holding the most powerful vibration for you to support your actions. - Write out one of your goals
- Now write down, briefly, why you want that goal to happen - e.g. more fun, more security, better lifestyle, respect, impress others, don't want to lose home, keep from harm, don't want to lose reputation, etc. BE HONEST, its just you between you and your goals :).
- Next, try to identify the emotion or deeper sense that is creating this desire - this step may take a few minutes, get in a quiet
meditative
mode if possible and ask yourself "Why do I really want this to happen?". You may find that it all boils down to either a LOVE based or FEAR based belief. (joy, love, respect, pride, frustration, incompetent, hate, happiness, pleasure, desire, lacking, invisibility, appreciation, peace, power, etc.) Notice that some of these are also considered values. Do they match your values list?
- And finally, any of your goals that have the intention based in fear and negativity (which is fear) need to be rephrased. For example
- I don't want my life to be meaningless . . to . . I am discovering and fulfilling my purpose every day.
- I hate my boss and want to leave my job . . to . . I deserve to have a boss and job that respects my worth.
- frustration . . to . . motivated to change the situation
- fear of loss . . to . . appreciative of what I have.
Get the idea? Be sure to write out the intentions in a way that you can really believe them when you set your goals. Keep the two of them together in your mind and on paper!
PRACTICE 2: Your Action Plan This is where you get to start manifesting intentions and reaching your goals! For each goal, take the following steps; Lets use the example of quitting smoking for the plan (intention? Don't want to die (fear), or even better, Want to live!): - First step - BABY STEPS! Before you stop smoking, do your research! What are the options, who are the experts, what has worked for others, which possibility matches your style? RESEARCH!
- Next, investigate! Take your research a step further, make appointments to talk to those experts or friends or workshops. You don't want to have to start over once you get started, so be very clear on what resonates with you - meditate on it! INVESTIGATE!
- Now! Decide and take action! Again, with baby steps - see more tips in
mind/body connection
. Set yourself up for success by getting support from friends/family/co-workers or even better, your SELF. Take one step at a time and stay on track, How?
- Have a time line - allow more than enough time to take each step. You can even schedule in a break as part of your time line if it feels like part of the flow (**NOT IF YOU ARE QUITTING SOMETHING :)). Create a deadline for each baby step so you can stay on track - if you miss it? Set another one - no excuses for quitting!
- NOTE: if you just aren't getting anywhere - option one: get professional help that is knowledgeable, supportive and understands you OR option two: does this goal really resonate with your values, your purpose, your higher self? Do you feel you really deserve success with this goal? This may be an area you need to adjust before continuing on your path (see
Law of Attraction
).
To keep a balanced life, focus on only three to five goals - this avoids obsessiveness and scattered energy.
Setting your goals using intention not only gives you a structure and plan to follow, it creates the right mindset and energetic vibration for intention manifesting. The power of intentions is a secret key to having the fulfilling life you desire and deserve! Related topics:
